Mike Sufficool, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, AEP®
Mike started his practice in 1992. He believes in a team approach to help you reach for maximum potential while considering the vast array of financial aspects that need to be addressed. He values collaborating with the RaiStone Wealth Partners as well as his clients’ existing CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Mike’s philosophy is that your individual goals are of utmost importance. By taking the time to truly listen and learn what each client wants, he knows that the appropriate strategies will present themselves. In addition to his own practice, Mike is proud to have recruited, trained and mentored dozens of successful financial professionals in the Omaha, NE metro area.

Brian Urban grew up in a hardworking, blue-collar home and was the first in his family to go to college. He’s brought his small town values, and midwestern work ethic to his 20+ year career as a financial consultant. Brian takes a comprehensive approach to get to know his individual and business clients personally. His goal is to ensure all recommendations are driven by his client’s best interests and desires. He has had a lifelong curiosity for the vast number of industries and professions that contribute to the American economy. From the artisan on the jobsite, to the C-Suite executive, Brian savors the conversation, knowledge, and experience that each client engagement provides.

With over 30 years of experience, Dan works with his clients to chart their financial futures, manage and grow their assets, and protect what’s most important to them.
What’s distinctive about Dan’s approach is a focus on objective advice. Through a one-on-one meeting, he can identify your needs and aspirations and the financial requirements for each. He will then discuss suitable strategies that work best to meet both your short and long-term needs. Greg Mieras, CLU
Greg has been with the company for more than 40 years starting his career with The Equitable in 1979. During his career, Greg has focused on working with successful businesses and individuals to develop customized Investment, Risk Management, Estate Planning Strategies, and Financial Strategies to help achieve their desired goals. Primarily working in the realms of Retirement Income Planning and Estate Planning Strategies, Greg has achieved recognition for his work.

Jed Mengel (RICP)
Jed Mengel has been a financial professional since 2006. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 Securities licenses, licensure for Life and Health insurance as well as earning the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation from the American College of Financial Services. Jed’s process focuses on financial strategies that address your personal goals and needs. His hands-on approach involves practical solutions in understandable terms that allows you to live your best life.

Jed enjoys spending time with his wife Deb and his daughters, Riley, and Maddie. He is passionate about the game of handball and is co-president of the Des Moines Hinder Club. He is an avid golfer and practices yoga.
Jeff has been serving the Ames, Iowa area for 15 years.
Ron has been a stock broker in the financial service business since 2000 or 22 years of service. Originally trained by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Ron left the World Trade center on September 8th of 2000 with full series 7, 63, and 65 licensing. Within 3 years Ron attained the honor of first in his class of 365 advisors nation-wide. After 5 years he transitioned to Vice President at UBS Financial services. During the 2008 and 2009 market declines Ron was able to mitigate and often prosper from the unrelenting selling.
Since 2010 Ron has worked closely with Mike Sufficool and RaiStone Wealth Partners to provide detailed market knowledge and experience as well as a wholistic Financial Planning and Estate planning solutions, retirement planning, and company 401k planning. Additional value is added from Ron’s knowledge and experience in hedging strategies, alternative assets and commodities. Our team provides a high level service and ongoing regular contact allowing our valued clients to stay abreast of the markets and their long-term needs.

Kyle graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015 with a bachelors degree in finance, also earning certificates in risk management & insurance, and entrepreneurship. While at Iowa, he was captain and president of the University of Iowa club hockey team. Kyle began his professional career as a derivatives trader in with a small proprietary trading firm in Chicago. He transitioned to a financial advisor role with Equitable in Cedar Rapids in May of 2016. In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing and watching sports, trying to golf, and is a huge Hawkeyes fan.

Brad Olsen is an associate with RaiStone Wealth Partners. Prior to working for RaiStone, Brad attended the University of Nebraska – Omaha, where he graduated with a BSBA. While attending UNO, Brad was a pitcher on their baseball team. His best memory while playing at UNO was striking out the side against the UNL Huskers, and hearing his favorite school’s fans boo him.
Brad has worked in the financial industry since November of 2017. He assists the RaiStone Wealth Partners by building financial plans for clients. He also works on new business preparation and processing, to help ensure a pleasant experience for all clients.
When he isn’t working or busy cheering on the Huskers, Brad loves to be outdoors. You can find him hunting, fishing, or traveling across the United states. He is our tallest employee, at 6’6.” (And no, he did not play basketball!) If you ask him how tall he is, you’ll hear anything from 6’4” to 6’7”, depending on how he is feeling that day.
Stephanie Hansen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she held the Philanthropy and Historian Chair for Sigma Kappa Sorority. After a brief stint as a substitute teacher, she taught briefly at Phoenix Academy Day School, a private school in Omaha that focuses on getting students who are behind in reading back to reading grade level.
As RaiStone Wealth Partners’ Scheduling Coordinator, Stephanie is a pro on the phones. She remains calm under pressure and loves interacting with our clientele.
When not at the office, you can find Stephanie supporting other single moms within her Women’s Group at Lifegate Church, strengthening her walk with God, or rallying on one of her daughters in competitive cheerleading. Stephanie has two daughters and a son. Compassion, loyalty, a love of people, and learning new things are what make Stephanie a well-rounded person. She’s always up for a challenge and loves having fun.
Client Service and Scheduling Coordinator
Kim joined the RaiStone team in September of 2020 as a Client Service and Scheduling Coordinator. With over three decades of experience in customer service in the travel and hotel industry, Kim enjoys creating an authentic and welcoming environment for all RaiStone’s clients. Her role includes scheduling appointments, assisting in report preparation, and various special projects wherever needed. Always looking future forward, she wants to continue to use her skill set to help expand RaiStone’s business as well as streamlining procedures and functions within the office
Kim is a Nebraska native and farm girl at heart. Family is first and foremost, when not working. She and her husband have been married since 1990 and enjoy time with their son, daughter in-law and two grandchildren who reside in Texas. She has another son serving our country in the US Army. Reading and crafting are her main hobbies, but her favorite place is the country, where nature allows for quiet time and reflection in her faith.
James Batterson joined the RaiStone team in early 2015 as Office Manager. He is instrumental in “back office” operations. James provides administrative support services only. However, he is in hot pursuit of becoming a Registered Sales Assistant and currently preparing for the Series 7 Securities exam, followed by the Series 66 exam.
James brings a wealth of knowledge in business practices, having successfully owned and operated a retail store. He is an Iowa native who enjoys golfing on the weekends, and is a huge Miami Dolphins fan. “Go Fins!”
Nancy Green has over 25 years experience assisting agents at RaiStone Wealth Partners. She offers a wealth of knowledge in the operations and processes of the day-to-day business practice, and in client relations.
In addition, she worked five years within the office as a Computer Technician, troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Nancy services as administrative support only.
Nancy graduated from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota with a degree in Art & Design, and minors in Business and Theater. Outside the office, you can usually find her in her dedicated design room.
